How to convert a driving licence PDF to ID card size

A smart-card driving licence is 85.6 ร— 54 mm, and most record-keeping apps and printing shops expect exactly that size. Downloaded licence PDFs (like sarathi copies) are usually full A4 pages, while scanned licences often arrive sideways or slightly tilted.

Upload your licence PDF and the Driving Licence preset (85.6 ร— 54 mm) is already selected. If your file has front and back on separate pages, switch to Front + Back, 2 pages mode: crop the front on page one, use the back page dropdown to choose page two, and crop the reverse side. Each card can be rotated independently with the Rotate buttons โ€” essential for sideways scans.

Turn on the white-background option to remove scan shadows, export at 300 DPI as PNG or JPG, or choose PDF for a millimetre-accurate page. Combine the two sides side-by-side or as separate files, or use A4 Print Sheet to lay out several copies with cut guides.
