Want to convert your bank statement PDF to CSV or Excel without retyping every transaction? Drop the statement into the converter above and the engine reads the columns straight out of the file. Because the whole conversion runs on your device with PDF.js, nothing about the statement is uploaded — a privacy guarantee you don’t get from a cloud service.
Three steps from statement to spreadsheet
Click the upload area and choose your PDF (or drag it in, or paste it with Ctrl+V), and the transactions appear as a clean editable grid within seconds. Review the auto-detected columns, re-map any header with its dropdown, and fine-tune a value by clicking a cell. When it looks right, press Copy to Clipboard and paste straight into Excel or Google Sheets, or hit Download CSV or Download XLSX for a file that opens in Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice, and Apple Numbers.
How the converter detects your columns
The engine reads the position of every text item in each page, groups them into lines, and clusters columns from their horizontal alignment. It then labels each column by its content: date-like values become Date, the widest text column becomes Description, signed or named amount columns resolve to Debit and Credit, and the running total becomes Balance. Because every statement is slightly different, you can override any guess from the dropdown on the column header — one click and the export updates instantly.
Normalizing currency and accounting negatives
Financial formatting varies: a withdrawal might appear as ($1,250.50), -$1,250.50, or 1,250.50 DR. Turn on Clean currency symbols and the converter strips $, €, £, and ₹ plus thousand-separator commas, and standardizes all of the above to -1250.50. The result imports cleanly into Excel, pivots, and budgeting tools without cleanup.
Multi-page statements
Most monthly statements fit on one page, but annual summaries and business accounts often span several. Tick Merge multi-page statements and the page preview morphs into one continuous ledger so the entire period converts in a single CSV or XLSX file — no merging at the end.
- Drop, paste, or upload any PDF statement or credit card bill.
