Passfoto-PDF in 35 × 45

The India photo passport size is 3.5 × 4.5 cm (35 × 45 mm, 1.38 × 1.77 inches). At 300 DPI that is 413 × 531 pixels, and at 600 DPI 827 × 1063 pixels. This tool pre-selects 35 × 45 mm so your crop matches passport-photo submissions exactly.

Use 600 DPI for maximum sharpness when printing at lab quality, or 300 DPI for most digital form uploads. The export pixels are computed from the mm size, so any DPI yields a correctly proportioned photo.

Because printer scaling stretches the sheet — "Fit to Page" turns a 35 × 45 mm photo into whatever fits the paper. Crop the photo first and print at 100% scale with page scaling disabled; the exact-size PDF export prints true to 35 × 45 mm.

Yes — glossy photo paper is best, but the PDF export at 600 DPI prints acceptably on plain paper for non-official use. Official submissions usually require standard photo paper.

Roughly 12–16 passport photos fit on a single A4 sheet depending on margins. The A4 Print Sheet mode lays them out with cut guides automatically.
